My Story

Growing up in Miami, Florida, I was surrounded by the beauty of the beach—so much so that I took it for granted. The sand and surf were always there, and the thought of packing up everything needed for a day at the shore often kept me away. It wasn’t until I moved to Georgia that I truly began to miss the beach and the year-round warmth that had always been part of my life. The longing for those sunny days made my return to Florida all the more special.

Planning my own wedding sparked a passion for event planning. I dove into the world of celebrations and became a professional wedding planner for a short while. My love for travel grew alongside this passion, and I found myself seeking out memorable experiences wherever I went—always looking for ways to make each moment unique and meaningful.

With an eye for detail and a heart full of inspiration, I decided to bring all my loves together. SeaChelle Picnics was born from my desire to share the natural beauty of Sarasota County’s parks and beaches, paired with quality furnishings, beautiful décor, and all the functionality needed for effortless outdoor entertaining. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, I want you to have an elegant outdoor experience without the planning woes or equipment-lugging worries.

Inclement Weather and Refund Policy


At SeaChelle Picnics, we want your outdoor event to be worry-free. If, 24 hours before your scheduled event, there is more than a 75% chance of rain at your chosen location (from the Weather Channel app - weather.com), we will contact you to discuss your options. You may choose to:
 

  • Keep your scheduled time and place

  • Change the location

  • Change the time (if the rain chance is lower at the new time)

  • Change the date

  • Receive a rain-check, good for one year from original event date.

 

Refunds


Refunds are based on how far in advance you request a cancellation:

  • Full refund: If requested 14 or more days before your event

  • 50% refund: If requested 3–13 days before your event

  • No refund: Within 2 days of the event
     

We strive to be flexible and fair, so you can book with confidence. If you have any questions about our policies, please contact us.
